About RDC

Receipts Depositary Corporation is a fintech company building the infrastructure that connects the traditional US securities market with digital assets and commodities markets. Our founders are former Wall Street bankers with over a decade each of institutional banking experience and have significant experience bringing innovative financial products to market.

Our operations team is core to everything we do — managing transaction processing, counterparty management, and the ongoing obligations of a depositary receipts provider. In this role, you will work directly with RDC’s founding team and grow into a senior role as the company scales.

About the Role

As the Securities Operations Specialist, you are the human control point in our transaction workflow. You will review and approve instructions submitted by institutional counterparties, ensure accuracy at every step, and own operational and regulatory procedure responsibilities.

This is a role for someone who cares about precision. Beyond day-to-day transaction oversight, you will manage counterparty onboarding, monitor reconciliation processes, and handle the periodic filings and notices that come with operating in a regulated securities environment. You will also work hands on with our engineering team to lead automation and process efficiencies.

What You’ll Do

Transaction Operations

  • Review, verify, and approve or reject transaction instructions submitted by institutional counterparties
  • Perform reviews of DTCC settlement details prior to approving any underlying asset movement
  • Monitor automated processes for exception alerts and take appropriate action — investigate, resolve, or escalate
  • Reconcile discrepancies across platform records, transfer agent data, and custodian balances

Counterparty Management

  • Manage end-to-end onboarding of new institutional counterparties — documentation, platform setup, and activation

Regulatory & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit periodic regulatory notices and filings on applicable deadlines
  • Manage product and market notices to counterparties and relevant market participants
  • Support fee tracking, collection, and reporting in coordination with the transfer agent and accounting teams
  • Assist with ongoing transfer agent and regulatory administrative requirements as needed

Operational Development

  • Help build and document the operational playbook — this is a startup, and you will have real input into how the function is structured
  • Surface process improvement opportunities to leadership from your day-to-day experience
  • Grow into a Senior Securities Operations role as the business scales

What We’re Looking For

You must have

  • 3–10 years of experience in securities operations, trade support, custody, fund administration, or a related financial services role
  • Working knowledge of capital markets, securities settlement processes within DTCC and institutional securities trading  workflows
  • Strong attention to detail: precision is non-negotiable in a regulated securities environment
  • Comfortable working within technology-driven operations platforms and reviewing structured financial data
  • Clear written communication: you will correspond directly with institutional counterparties

Nice to have

  • Background in transfer agency, transactional banking, broker-dealer, or custodian in an operations capacity
  • Experience with ADR or ETF settlement processes within DTCC
  • Exposure to digital asset or commodity financial products
  • Experience at an early-stage fintech or financial services startup
  • Preferred location is Houston, TX: this role is in-person/hybrid
